One of my favourite travel vloggers featured on this website is none other than Ed Chapman.
His YouTube profile says “Ed Chapman. Ed Chapman. Ed Chapman. Ed Chapman. Ed Chapman. I used to be Just Ed.” It’s an indicator of his off the wall sense of humour, which can only be described at a bit mad, as in a very dry, batshit crazy kind of way, and Ed doesn’t mince words. If he thinks a holiday cabin looks more like a garden shed, he’ll say so.
Ed turns irony into an art form, as he globe trots around the world observing life and quirks of other people and their customs, all wrapped up in the guise of showing us, the viewer, the real ‘snap shot’ impression of people and places, and it’s not just foreign countries either. Britain doesn’t escape his attentions too.
His video production technique is one of a kind. Definitely not your usual travel video documentary style. From facial expressions to quirky angles, Ed keeps us entertained with tightly cut and pacey films.
Here’s Ed Chapman’s introduction video where he talks about his career and development from childhood to today.
Ed Chapman. Ed Chapman. Ed Chapman. Ed Chapman. Ed Chapman. I used to be Just Ed.
